The Challenge

CareAid had a clear product vision but limited internal engineering capacity. Agency managers, care workers in the field, and family members each needed a different way to use the system. Scheduling, care plans, communication, reporting, and compliance records also had to stay connected. Because the platform handled sensitive care information, access controls and a reliable audit trail had to be part of the design from the start.

The Solution

Augmex formed an 8-person product team covering backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, and project management. The team released an MVP in three months, then developed the wider platform over the following five months. Care agency managers received a web dashboard, care workers received a React Native mobile app, and relatives received a family portal. The shared platform brought together scheduling, care-plan templates, communication, reporting, compliance tracking, role-based access, and audit logging.
